A few weekends ago we went back to Oxford for the first time since we've moved to Cincinnati. For those of you who don't know, Oxford is the home of Miami University where Jay & I went to college. It's about 45 minutes from our house. We decided to take in a hockey game and check out the new arena. Wow - it was so nice! We purchased "standing room only" tickets, fully expecting that one of us would be walking around with Madison the entire game. However, a nice usher found us GREAT seats a few minutes before the end of the first period at center ice 4 or 5 rows up! Much to our surprise, Madison sat on our laps for about 2.5 hours! She loved watching all the action and would cheer every time Miami scored. She also loved the band and would say "more" after each time they would finish playing! :) Because Miami had a sizable lead against Michigan State, we left during the third period and ventured uptown for some pizza before our trip home. We will surly take in another game soon, it was so much fun!
Poor girl, Swoops is a little scary!
Enjoying the game and a snack on mommy's lap
Great seats!
Miami pride!

And the best Ohio license plate you've ever seen - Miami Merger 2004
(Again for you novices, a Miami Merger is when 2 Miami graduates marry - yes it's a bit over-the-top on the license plate, but we couldn't resist! What else do you do when you move back to your home state after all these years?!) :)
