Bye Bye Penicillin

Yes, it's official - Madison is allergic to Penicillin!  She's been on it since Monday when she was diagnosed with her first double ear infection.  Tonight I came home from work and saw little red bumps on her hairline and neck.  After further inspection, the bumps were on her tummy too!  So, we hauled up to the after-hours clinic and a quick check determined that Maddie will no longer be able to take Penicillin.  Unfortunately, she still has the ear infections, so we have a new anti-biotic and all is well.  She's been a trooper - possibly the happiest sick kid I've seen.  Oh, and the paper on the exam table with a mirror on the wall is genius!  She was so distracted by tearing at the paper and looking at herself in the mirror! :)
