The last week of June we spent part of the week in Virginia visiting Jay's parents. We were so excited to take Madison to the lake! Unfortunately, she spent a day and a half with 103 fever and really feeling crummy! We were all feeling bad for her, but 24 hours of Tylenol/Motrin and TLC seemed to do the trick. The little boy at her baby sitter's had Hand Foot & Mouth disease, which is highly contagious and starts with a fever - but it seems she just had a fever for 24 hours and the other symptoms did not present themselves. Thankfully! Here are a few pictures from our trip.
Grammy & Poppa's neighbor, Rick, let us enjoy his pool one evening. Poppa enjoyed pushing Maddie around on her little floaty boat.
Never too early to start learning right from wrong! Better meet Brutus Buckeye early so she doesn't get confused with liking blue and yellow.
The thrill of Grammy & Poppa's house was their digital frame! Madison crawled from across the room to see it multiple times (this was the first time she'd crawled such a long distance!). She loved watching the images change and would talk to the pictures.
All decked out for a boat ride on Grammy's boat. Notice the 'Lake Gaston' had and shades! She wasn't really a fan of any of it, but managed to leave it on for a while.
