1 Year Check-up

We went to see Dr. Pannell this week for Madison's 1 yr visit and shots.  We were so anxious to have her weighed - as she seems so much heavier to us.  She's still somewhat a little peanut, but we think she's just perfect.  Here are her stats:

19.9 lbs - 40/50th percentile

28 3/4 inches long - 25th percentile

Can't remember her head cir. but it was in the 75th percentile........yes, lots of brains! :)

We have started to integrate whole milk and so far so good.  She sure seemed to like it better than formula when I gave it to her today.  Madison has always been such a great eater and now she is really preferring to finger-feed.  This makes me get more creative about things to serve her so she gets all her food groups.  She is starting to exhibit a little toddler eating tendencies in one day liking something and the next day spitting it out.  Especially with fruits and veggies.  She loves blueberries one day and not the next, etc.  I've read this is totally normal and just go on with offering her as many things as possible.  She keeps me on my toes!
