As we've shared before, Madison loves books! We had a small basket in her room that held all her books and she loved to crawl over and take them out one (or two or three) at a time. After her birthday, she received so many new books that they didn't all fit in the basket. So, it was time for a bookshelf. What a hit! She still pulls a lot of books out in the process of finding just the right one to sit down and look at. This time, it was "Are You My Mother?" by Dr. Seuss, a personal favorite of mine. She is particularly fond of the Dr. Seuss books; we have several of the little board books. Her very favorite is 'The Foot Book". The rhythm of the words makes her giggle every time. Trust us, we each can recite the book without reading it! :) I'm sure there'll be many more favorites we'll memorize over the years. Cheers to books!
