"What's round on the ends & high in the middle? O-HI-O!"

Greetings from the great state of OHIO!! We are here and somewhat settled! The last week has been a whirlwind, but here's a few highlights:
-I flew with Madison to Columbus to stay with my mom while Jay & his parents drove our cars and belongings across the country. Maddie did great on the plane & I survived my first flight alone with her! :)
-The caravan of Nan, Keith & Jay made record time and were already outside of Louiville, KY by Thursday night. We all met at the new townhouse in Cinci by noon on Friday!
-Our townhouse is really nice.....but it's 3 stories!! I am so thankful we had movers to unload the Penske truck! In fact, we even had to put our armoire in the basement because it wouldn't fit up the narrow stairs.
-Thanks to help from our family & my friend Emily - we are mostly unpacked. Emily came over Saturday and helped me put away the kitchen, which was huge! Keith organized our garage for us so we can already pull in our cars!! We have little things to work on (ie: our room & bathroom), but mostly we're "in".

The temperatures have been amazing! It's in the 50s/60s in the morning and up to upper 70s/low 80s by mid day. PERFECT! We've used our fleece & sweatshirts already and wearing jeans seems to be more the norm. Whew, we have sweat long enough in good 'ol Texas!

It was so fun to see two of my bridesmaids (Vicki Stolarski & Emily Welch) who live in Cinci already this past weekend AND run into Emily's mom in the grocery. It feels good to be here and we both are so excited to get some time to explore our new home!

Madison is doing great for all the change that has occured in her world. Grammy & Poppa are here this week while I start work tomorrow. She is loving showing them all her tricks and they are teaching her new ones too!
